As a user on theechelon.eu, you have to agree to a few rules:

Rule 0: Be nice. Have fun.

Rule 1: The cat owns. Leaders and moderators own slightly less, but they still own. However, moderators will not own you as long as you respect the rules.

Rule 2: Respect other users. Do not flame using forum or PM. To argue against ideas or arguments is okay, but do not attack people or groups. Racist, sexist, homophobic, religious or other slur is not okay.

Rule 3: Respect privacy. Do not pass on private messages or email without the permission of the other part. Do not use posts or parts of posts for commercial purposes.

Rule 4: Respect the law. Do not post anything that is illegal according to Swedish law - the server is located in Sweden - or EU regulations (keep to what’s legal in your country and you’re probably safe). If in doubt, PM Shadow Kitty.

Rule 5: Respect our time. This forum is dedicated to City of Heroes, so keep that in mind when selecting topics. Do not cross-post or spam. Spambots are killed on sight.

Rule 6: Respect your account. Do not share it with others. You are responsible for all activity carried out on your account. Do not pretend to be someone else.

Rule 7: Respect the moderators and their decisions. If you think that a post is against the rules, notify the moderators. Users that act contrary to the spirit of these rules may be warned, or get a temporary or permanent ban by moderators. You may appeal a decision privately by emailing echelon (at) theechelon.eu or via PM to Shadow Kitty.

In addition to those rules, there’s one technical fact that we by law have to tell you: a cookie (a text file containing bits of information such as username and password) is placed in your browser’s cache. This is only to keep you logged in or out, and does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer. However, your IP address is recorded with each post.
